Travelers booking a holiday vacation flight and hotel can save with free nights and reduced rates at featured properties around the country at Southwest Airline Vacations. Those booking three or more nights save an additional $75 per reservation with promotion code HOLIDAY 75 when booking by Dec. 31. Bookers can save up to 30 percent on Alamo or National car rentals when added to a holiday vacation package.

One-day advance purchase is required.  There are other stipulations.

Golf bags, skis, and snowboards fly free with Southwest Airlines Vacations, a savings of up to $120 per person, round-trip, the site says.

Bid on Florida Keys to save 80 percent

 FloridaVacationAuction.com says consumers can place a starting bid of just $165 for a 3day/2night stay at the Florida Keys  —  more than 80 percent off the retail price of $821. Bids close Dec. 4, but Hawks Key Resort is featured often at the site.

The resort appeals to sportsmen, families, spa and wellness fans and couples looking for a romantic getaway. It’s location is just two hours south of Miami. The resort also offers The Indies Club for kids from 5-17, which is regularly ranked among Florida’s best children’s program.

There is no cost to register or place a bid. There are also no taxes or additional costs for handling unless otherwise noted by the resort or hotel.

Low-season flight to Europe for as low as $470 round-trip

For a limited time, fares from select US gateways to destinations in Europe are on sale starting at $470 round-trip — including all taxes and fees, says Lufthansa.  Travel is valid from the end of November through the end of March. The $470 flight is from New York to Dublin.
