Hotel Adlon Kempinski celebrates its centenary

Saturday, 10 May, 2007 0

The hotel by the Brandenburg Gate is celebrating its centenary as well as its tenth anniversary as part of the Kempinski group. To mark this occasion, the hotel has put together a jubilee package for its guests.

Guests will be collected from the airport or train station by the Adlon limousine which BMW developed especially for the hotel. They then stay in a luxurious double room where there is fresh fruit and a copy of the Adlon Centenary Book as a gift upon arrival. In the evening, they can enjoy a glass of champagne and a festive four-course menu in the Restaurant Quarré – the view of the Brandenburg Gate is inclusive! The evening then ends in the lobby bar with the 100 Years Adlon cocktail.

The following morning, after a breakfast buffet, guests will be driven to KaDeWe, Europe’s biggest department store which also celebrates its centenary this year. Here, a personal shopper accompanies guests through the store. The KaDeWe customer card, which guests will also receive offers 10 per cent reduction on all purchased items.

In the afternoon, tea and coffee and the famous Adlon cake will be served in the hotel lobby after which guests can head for the Adlon Spa.

The price for this package including two nights’ accommodation in a double room and the above inclusions is €830 per person or €1300 for single occupancy. This can be booked between March 1 to December 28, 2007.
