Hotel chain sponsors “I Do†contest
It happens only once every 100 years. So at least one hotel is capitalizing on a perfect calendar reading of 11-11-11 to host 11 weddings for 11 winning couples as well as other prizes with the Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts “Marry Me” giveway.
“Those who are selected as having the most dedicated relationship and intriguing love story will be whisked away to a once in a lifetime New York City wedding at the Crowne Plaza Times Square- Manhattan,” says the hotel chain.
“Since many people will want to get married on 11.11.11, it’s the perfect time for Crowne Plaza to step in and throw a wedding celebration in honor of this very lucky day for 11 very lucky couples,” said Steve Ekdahl, director, Leisure Travel, US Sales & Marketing, IHG. He added:
“And on top of this we’re offering all couples a sweet deal of up to $1,250 back when they book the ‘Honeymoon on Us' promotion at any one of almost 200 Crowne Plaza hotels across the U.S. and Canada by the end of this year.”
Sweethearts who wish to marry or renew their vows can enter the Crowne Plaza “Marry Me 11.11.11” giveaway at Facebook.com/crowneplaza and post the reasons why they are lucky in love. Couples are invited to share entries with friends and ask them to vote, to increase their chances of saying “I do.”
