HOTEL CONNECT LLC GOES OUT OF BUSINESS

Monday, 29 Jun, 2011 0

Sad, but true…they are gone. For good. Agents with clients booked through Hotel Connect LLC should find another way to rebook them asap. Apparently they had hoped to be able to honor their commitments, but at the 11th hour…the company was liquidated. Phone contact with them is no longer available…and when you go to their former website: www.hotelconnectagents.com….you are told that they are no longer trading…and that they are sorry that it ended this way. They tried to arrange booking with other suppliers, but were not able to make good on that promise. They claim that the liquidators will be in touch , if you have claims. They thank you for your support, and apologize. Once again, the need for travel insurance looms large. Hotel Connect was a great wholesaler, I’m sad to see them go. They paid on time, they really cared and they honestly checked the hotels that they contracted with. A pity, and loss to our travel agent community.
