Hotel Jen provides travellers with the essentials of a quality hotel room, including a comfortable bed and great shower, without the expensive extras. The hotel’s 280 rooms are designed in a contemporary style with clean lines, natural colours and light wood finishes. Rooms start from around HK$585 per night (approx: £37.50).
Hotel Jen is located in the Western District, just down the hill from Hong Kong University and just 10 minutes from Hong Kong’s Central business district, the Airport Express and the nightlife centres of Soho and Lan Kwai Fong.
Open-air spa treatments now available at InterContinental Hong Kong
InterContinental Hong Kong has added two outdoor spa pool cabanas to its revamped Pool Terrace as part of the hotel’s US$70 million renovations.
Here, guests can experience holistic treatments by Ytsara of Thailand – exclusively designed for the spa pool cabanas – using organic ingredients and traditional Asian philosophies and techniques.
Treatments can be booked individually, or within an Urban Day Spa Retreat Package (HK$2,200 / approx: £140), which includes two Ytsara Asian therapies, full use of the pool and fitness facilities for a day, and a delicious three-course ‘ihealth’ cuisine lunch served at the Pool Terrace overlooking Victoria Harbour.
