Hotel room keycard opens up Bangkok subway
BANGKOK – Bangkok Metro Company is partnering with hotel businesses along the city’s MRT subway route to encourage greater use of public transport as a means to help reduce global warming.
The Chaophya Park Hotel is the first hotel to launch the “All-in-One Day Pass and Room Key Card†– a magnetic key that can be used for travelling on the MRT as well as doubling as a hotel key card.
General manager of the Chaophya Park Hotel, Andrew J. Wood, said, “Many of our guests choose to stay with us because of the close proximity of the MRT. It makes getting around town so quick and easy.
“The All-in-One Pass and Room Key Card will allow guests staying with us, and who ride the subway, to carry just one handy card.â€
