Hotel will match any meeting offer
Some creative meeting offers include Affinia Hotels’s chance to customize when booking meetings worth at least USD$6,000 in Chicago or New York or at least USD$10,000 in Washington.
If planners book by June 30 of this year, the hotelier will match any offer that’s available at another hotel.
Other new creative offers:
—The Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau has a deal for 20 percent off hotel room rates, a complementary meeting room rental, and various other discounts. Planners submitting an RFP will be entered in a contest to win a vacation for two.
—The EPIC Hotel in Miami is offering a “Power Hour” package good for meetings of at least 50 rooms if booked before Nov. 6, when Daylight Savings Time expires. It includes one hour early check-in, one hour later check out, a daily hosted wine hour and other perks.
—The Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau has a “Show Us Your Badge” offer for discounts at more than 40 participating businesses when showing a badge or room key.
—Milwaukee’s Marcus Hotels & Resorts, which operates the Pfister, InterContinental Milwaukee and Hilton Milwaukee City Center hotels in Milwaukee — as well as the Grand Geneva resort in Lake Geneva, Wis. — has announced a new "Pick Your Free" special. Available for groups of 10 or more, it allows planners to choose from a complimentary reception, complimentary continental breakfast or complimentary money with rates starting at USD$99.
