Hotelbeds Group appoints new Americas sales chief
Major bedbank Hotelbeds Group has made a number of key appointments in the Americas as it set a year-end target ti fully integrate all its bedbank brands.
Lauren Volcheff Atlass has been appointed the regional director of wholesale sales for the Americas.
In this role which covers the entire Americas region, she is tasked with managing relationships and driving growth with all wholesale clients including tour operators, airlines, points redemption schemes, OTAs and all resellers.
Atlass was executive vice president of global sales and marketing at Tourico Holidays, which joined the Hotelbeds Group brand portfolio last year.
She spent more than 10 years at Tourico.
"I am very pleased to see Lauren taking the lead for wholesale sales in the Americas, her expertise and close relationships with the leading players in the region will be pivotal to further the development of our group’s market footprint in the Americas," said Sam Turner, wholesale sales & sourcing director at Hotelbeds Group.
The Group announced moves in regional management positions that will report to Atlass.
Deborah Kenton is regional manager for North America – East, Sevil Arnavutoglu Le will head North America – West, Emmanuel Labstida is appointed to Central Latin America, and Alexandre Vanzella for Latin America – South.
The Group confirmed that all bedbank brands – Hotelbeds, Bedsonline, Tourico Holidays, and GTA – will be integrated into a single technology platform by the end of this year.
