HotelREZ signs up 320 properties

Representation company HotelREZ has signed more than 320 hotel and group members in its first year of operation.

Fullers Hotels, Folio Hotels, Hand Picked Hotels, Exclusive Hotels and Down Hall Hotel are among those signed up.

HotelREZ was created to meet the needs of independent and small chain hotels from generating demand, marketing and distribution technology, according to managing director Mark Lewis.

The company, formed in April 2004, also offers consultancy, financial commission reconciliation services, training and development, centralised procurement, web design/optimisation and IT infrastructure solutions.

Lewis said: ”Everyone working for HotelREZ has experienced firsthand the travel and hotel industries and has been able to successfully transfer this knowledge into practical propositions for our customers.”

Lewis has a background including Thomas Cook, MyTravel Group and Utell; executive director Brenda Collin was with Hilton Hotels and Pegasus Solutions; operations director Wayne O’Dell was formerly with TUI/Thomson, Utell and American Express Corporate Travel; and executive director Fulvia Gaiazzi was previously with Pegasus Solutions and World Hotels, formerly SRS.
