HRG develops ‘one-stop-shop’ business travel portal
A personalised electronic travel assistant has been developed by HRG (Hogg Robinson Group) for UK clients.
The web-based HRG Portal provides travel booking, trip information, customised reports and expense management.
The travel management company claims the portal will be a ‘one-stop-shop’ corporate travel solution with online booking.
It also has the ability to integrate HRG’s expense management system into companies’ existing financial systems to track travel and purchases from sources including corporate credit cards, T&E cards, personal cash claims, mobile and office phones, fuel and car charges and travel data.
HRG UK managing director Peter Kite said: “It has been inspired and driven by customer experiences and needs to help them manage their business travel and expenses in an efficient and accurate way.
“We believe there are significant customer benefits from the fully integrated version of the HRG Portal as it provides a seamless, online solution. Log-in is quick, simple and secure, providing travellers with a host of valuable information relating to their company, its travel policy and their business trip, whilst procurement professionals benefit from detailed spend and data analysis information.”
The development came as HRG revealed that it had been reappointed by global financial services group Nomura to handle its business travel for a further three years following a six-way competitive tender. The ‘multi-million pound’ contract has the option for a further two-year extension. HRG has worked with Nomura for eight years.
