Hyatt House brand to debut in Australia
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has signed its first Australia hotel under the Hyatt House brand.
The Melbourne hotel is expected to open in 2025 with 97 guestrooms.
Hyatt House South Melbourne will mark the entry of the Hyatt House brand in the country ,as part of the mixed-use Oasis Residences.
“We are proud to work with Holder East Ltd on the first Hyatt House Australia hotel,” said David Udell, group president, Asia Pacific, Hyatt.
“This exciting milestone also reflects Hyatt’s continued growth of our extended-stay portfolio.”
Construction is underway on the hotel.
Hotel amenities include an all-day lounge and bar, a 24/7 fitness room and communal spaces for working and socialising.
The Hyatt House brand was introduced in 2012.
Once open, Hyatt House South Melbourne will join a global portfolio of more than 130 Hyatt House properties worldwide.
