Hyatt offering in-room personalized streaming

Hyatt will offer a personalized Wi-Fi streaming service to all guests allowing for individual apps to be streamed through the guestroom TV.
Hyatt has teamed up with streaming provider Sonifi to integrate it into the World of Hyatt mobile app.
The service is already live at 14 US hotels and will be expanded to more hotels in the near future.
Through the in-room TV, guests will be able to stream favourite apps such as Netflix, and Spotify.
Apart from apps, users will also be able to view personal files via the TV.
This includes personal videos and photos, and work documents such as business presentations.
"The World of Hyatt mobile app provides guests with a one-stop-shop of services to personalize their travel experience, whether it’s using your phone to book the best room type or now enjoying your favorite entertainment on the guestroom TV," Hyatt senior vice president of global hotel technology, Jeff Bzdawka.
