Hyatt to acquire Summerfield Suites

Global Hyatt Corp. has entered into an agreement to purchase the upscale extended-stay brand and franchise system of 21 Summerfield Suites hotels early January 2006.
Hyatt has developed its own standards and brands for extended-stay hotels it plans to build, as well as converting the Summerfield Suites hotels to this new standard and brand which will be revealed in early 2006.
