Hyatt to debut Andaz brand in Korea
Hyatt Hotels Corp has announced an agreement to introduce the Andaz brand in South Korea.
Andaz Gangnam, Seoul will feature 241 guestrooms and is slated to open in 2019.
Located in the Apgujeong area of Gangnam, it will have an all-day dining restaurant, meeting space, a pool and a fitness centre.
"We are excited to showcase how the new Andaz hotel will integrate and complement Gangnam’s unique character given Seoul is a very attractive destination as it continues to develop into one of the most competitive cities for global leisure and business travel," said David Udell, Hyatt group president for Asia Pacific.
"We are delighted to work with KT Estate and Hotel I-Park to realise this vision and look forward to continuing to provide guests with the highest level of service, hospitality, and care."
The Apgujeong district is one of the most affluent in the country and is home to upscale designer stores, restaurants and offices of the country’s biggest corporations and entertainment companies.
