Iberia, Aerolíneas Argentinas join forces to boost connectivity
Spanish Iberia and Aerolíneas Argentinas have kicked off a comprehensive interline agreement to facilitate easier air links between Argentina and Spain.
Now effective, customers of both airlines can connect their transatlantic flights with more than 37 destinations within Argentina and 29 within Spain.
Customers who purchase their tickets with Iberia now have access to 37 onward destinations within Argentina including Córdoba, Mendoza, Bariloche, Mar de Plata, Rosario, Ushuaia, Iguazú, Tucumán, and El Calafate.
Similarly, Spain bound travelers on Aerolíneas Argentinas can easily connect to 29 cities within Spain at Iberia’s Madrid-Barajas hub.
These include Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Bilbao, Málaga, Granada, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza and Tenerife.
All journeys can be made througha single reservation, and a single check-in to the final destination.
Marco Sansavini, CEO of Iberia, said: ” Thanks to this agreement, the more than 2,000 people we transport daily between Buenos Aires and Madrid will have a complete domestic connectivity network in Argentina.”
