Ibis opens in Townsville

Townsville has opened its first international hotel in almost 20 years.

The Hotel Ibis features 118 rooms, a street-front restaurant Sugatrain, and two dedicated conference rooms which can host functions for up to 100 delegates.

The hotel is located on Palmer Street in the heart of the city’s restaurant and entertainment precinct, a short distance from the CBD, Flinders Mall and major attractions.

Opening rate at the Ibis is $99 per room per night, valid until the end of September and subject to availability.
