IndiGo crew take mass sick leave for job-hunting at rival airline
More than half of IndiGo’s domestic flights were delayed at the weekend with ‘a significant number’ of cabin crew taking sick leave. Airline sources suspect most went for an Air India recruitment day.
Arun Kumar, chief of regulator DGCA said it is ‘looking into this’ It led to one of IndiGo’s worst on-time performances on July 2 with only 45% of flights leaving on time.
India’s largest airline operates about 1,600 flights daily
“We have noted the development and have sought a report from the airline,” the DGCA said
