IndiGo to fly direct to Athens
India’s largest airline IndiGo will soon be winging its way to Greece.
It will start direct flights to Athens from its two main hubs Delhi and Mumbai starting in January 2026.
It has been hailed by Greek Minister of Tourism, Olga Kefalogianni, who met IndIGo CEO Pieter Albers this week
To facilitate enhanced connectivity, IndiGo has inked a codeshare agreement with Greece airline, AEGEAN.
AEGEAN plans to start flying to Delhi and Mumbai in March 2026.
The codeshare partnership will give customers of both airlines more options flying between the countries as well as onward connections in both India and across Europe.
IndiGo is also launching Copenhagen flights from Mumbai this autumn.
