InsideJapan hosting live virtual tours for agents
Japan travel specialist InsideJapan, part of Inside Travel Group, has announced a final Virtually InsideJapan tour for 2021.
It is a specific trade focused tour targeting trade partners keen to be ‘Japan-ready’ for a busy ‘peaks’ in the new year.
Having launched live virtual tours back in March 2021 together with the help of their Japan based ‘Insider’ tour leaders, the tours have been watched by thousands of people.
The tour will introduce agents to Kamakura.
"The next tour will be filmed at the seaside temple town and ancient capital of Kamakura, which is an easy day trip from Tokyo, but so very different," said Matthew Spiller, Inside Travel Group’s Trade Sales & Marketing Manager,
"This particular trade-specific tour is a chance for agent partners to get an idea of what life is currently like in Japan, to get interesting insight into the culture and to see the sort of thing clients will get on a small group tour or fully tailored self-guided adventure."
There will be a live Q&A with Spiller, Business Development Manager Andrew Tait and Tokyo-based Insider tour leader, Brett Plotz.
It gives agents a chance to ask anything about the country, the culture and how Insight works with the trade.
Agents are asked to sign up in advance for the free one-hour live trade event which will take place on 1 December.
InsideJapan has sold over 55% of tour places for 2022 and is expected to release 2023 tour dates in early December.
Spiller added, "We know Japan is on travel bucket lists for 2022/23 and that agents are currently extremely busy, so we want to make sure the virtual event is just as informative and useful as it is entertaining."
