‘Inspirational’ business travel veteran retires
Advanced Travel Partners International deputy chairman and operations director Jenny Mills is to take early retirement.
Mrs Mills, former managing director of East Anglia-based Seaforths Travel, is to stand down at the end of the month citing family reasons.
Seaforths was acquired by the parent company of ATP in 2002, followed by Ayscough Travel less than a year later, to create ATPI, one of the top ten business travel management companies in the UK.
Mrs Mills (58), who joined Seaforths as a teenager, said: “Although I am sad to be leaving, it is time to give my husband and family the support they have given me over the years.”
ATPI chief executive Graham Ramsey described Mrs Mills as an “inspirational figure”.
He said: “She is without doubt one of the most successful and highly respected women in the travel industry and will be missed by all of us who have worked with her.”
