InteleTravel acquires Hickory Global Partners
Homeworker network InteleTravel has acquired corporate travel consortium Hickory Global Partners.
InteleTravel says the acquisition gives it an edge to boost business from clients traveling for both business and leisure.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
Hickory will continue to operate as a wholly owned unit.
Inteletravel says the deal will lead to the creation of more than 100 new jobs.
Its home based travel advisor network spans North America, UK and Ireland,
Hickory president Chris Dane will stay on and lead a push into emerging markets and corporate travel training for InteleTravel advisors.
“We have a vision that leads into the next decades with a modern view of business and leisure travelers,” Dane said.
InteleTravel agents will have access to more ‘business travel-focused education, expense management tools, and ancillary supplier partnerships.’
