InterContinental Chiang Mai hotel set to open this summer

IHG Hotels & Resorts will debut the flagship InterContinental brand in Chiang Mai, Thailand this summer.

It is the first opening as part of a strategic partnership lifestyle real-estate group, Asset World Corporation

When the first phase of renovations is completed, the Chiang Mai hotel will feature 240 rooms and suites.

It will house five restaurants and bars, children’s activities and several event venues.

It is located downtown near the Night Bazaar, Tha-Pae Gate and Warorot Market.

The conversion from the Imperial Mae Ping Hotel will maintain the timeless Lanna era décor and ambience.
