International Rail to sell add-on tickets
International Rail is expanding its offering to travel agents to book their clients a broad selection of non-rail product and services for Australian travellers visiting Europe.
During the upcoming European summer season International Rail can offer transport passes in London and Paris, sightseeing tours in major European cities and ferry tickets.
The company said the benefit of pre-booking particular services is the convenience of avoiding queues and lengthy delays in purchasing tickets, and being able to immediately leave the airport with tickets for the next leg of the journey.
"There are no booking fees, excellent commission and all products may be sold stand alone," said an International Rail spokeswoman.
Tickets can be pre-purchased but there is no need to pre-book the tours which can be done at the travellers’ own pace.
