Intrepid acquires Australia lodges
Intrepid Travel has announced the acquisition of Australia based Wild Bush Luxury.
The business operates luxury lodges and guided walking tours.
It has a presence in South Australia and the NT.
The company’s lodge and tour product will join the Intrepid portfolio in February 2026.
“Travelers are increasingly seeking meaningful ways to connect with land, wildlife and culture,” said Intrepid ANZ managing director, Brett Mitchell.
“By expanding our portfolio with iconic guided walks and premium lodges, we’re offering experiences that immerse them in some of the country’s most extraordinary landscapes.”
Intrepid inked the deal to buy Wild Bush with tour operator Experience Co.
Experience Co says it plans to focus on its Treetop Adventures, skydiving and marine tourism activities.
The acquisition comes as Intrepid launched dozens of new tours for 2026.
