Intrepid appoints business development manager
Intrepid Travel has appointed Gabriel Quiros as business development manager for the South West, Wales and Ireland.
Quiros joins from Clifton Hotels Group where he was sales and marketing assistant manager.
Born and raised in Costa Rica, before that he worked as a tour guide in Central America.
"I love the fact that Intrepid has a true commitment to be responsible within the destinations we visit," he said.
"As a Latin American who has worked on the ground, I know the importance and difference it makes when you respect the destination and the locals."
Quiros will be speaking at Intrepid’s Discover Central America event for the trade later this month.
Held in conjunction with the Central America Tourism Agency, agents will have the chance to sample authentic food and drink and learn about the destination.
The event takes place on April 19 from 6.30pm at Barrio East in Shoreditch, London.
