Ireland operator to offer budget ski packages from mainland UK
Northern Ireland’s largest independent tour operator Travel Solutions is offering ski holidays from UK mainland airports for the first time.
It describes its ski packages as ‘ideal for families and novice skiers’.
The operator already offers charter flight-based ski packages from Belfast and from January it will also offer departures from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester and Stansted to two Bulgarian ski resorts, Pamporovo and Borovets.
Its packages include ski hire, lift passes and lessons as well as flights on scheduled low-cost carriers and half-board accommodation.
Company spokesman Robin Segal said: "We’ve identified a real gap in the market for great value ski packages.
"I will be visiting agents over the next few weeks to introduce them to the programme and our on-line booking system."
