It just got easier for UK visitors to hotfoot it over to Poland

Tuesday, 22 Apr, 2008 0

The Polish National Tourist Office in London in  co-operation with Fortis Media (UK), has launched a magazine, Discover Poland, on March 30, 2008, due to the demand for an English language publication about Poland in the UK market.

Every issue will present a combination of articles, ranging from “snapshots” of recommended places to visit, to profiles of noteworthy Poles. The magazine as a whole will be a lifestyle/travel guide, which means there will be more than just overviews of towns and cities, or a history lesson about Poland.

Readers will get a sense of what the country is all about in terms of life here and now This means well-written pieces about Polish people, places and passions (such as art, food, events, music and history). Every issue will show Poland’s long, vibrant and turbulent history, but also highlight its modern reality.

To find out more about Discover Poland visit www.poland.travel/en or Fortis Media (UK) on  +44 (0)208 96 444 88 ext. 401.
