It’s a free ride for Grecian women
The Minister has given the women of Greece a free ride.
All women in Greece can use the public transport for free on International Women’s Day on Sunday. Women can travel with transport facilities in Athens and the second largest city of Thessaloniki free of charge and travel for free with Hellenic Railways and the KTEL bus services all over Greece.
This is considered a small gesture of recognition for the role and contribution of women in modern-day society," the minister said.
He hopes through these activities, that people will honor and respect women all year round.
