Next year’s ABTA Travel Convention is to be held in the city of Ljubljana in Slovenia.
The event will be held earlier than usual, from September 22-24.
It is the first time The Travel Convention has visited Slovenia, which shares a border with this year’s convention host, Croatia.
Half way between Vienna and Venice, Ljubljana is the Slovenian capital – only 55km from Lake Bled.
Tine Murn of the Slovenian Tourist Board said: "Slovenia and Ljubljana are delighted to welcome The Travel Convention in 2014. Slovenia is a beautiful country and we see this as an ideal opportunity to increase the number of UK visitors to our country and to develop closer ties with the British travel industry."
