It’s one-two for AVANI in Sri Lanka
Minor Hotel Group, in partnership with Serendib Leisure, has opened a second AVANI resort in Sri Lanka.
AVANI Kalutara Resort & Spa, on Sri Lanka’s south west coast, previously known as Kani Lanka, has reopened after a USD5 million renovation and refurbishment.
Located an hour south of Colombo and approximately a 2.5 hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport, the 105-room AVANI Kalutara is built on the mouth of the River Kalu, facing the lagoon in one direction and the Indian Ocean on the other.
AVANI Hotels & Resorts was launched by Minor Hotel Group in 2011, with AVANI Bentota Resort & Spa, the new brand’s first property, debuting in Sri Lanka in November 2011.
Minor Hotel Group has plans to grow the brand across Asia, India and the Indian Ocean and in the Middle East.
