JacTravel buys TotalStay Group
JacTravel has bought TotalStay Group for an undisclosed sum.
The B2B accommodation wholesaler’ acquisition was supported by Vitruvian Partners.
The founder and management team of TotalStay Group retain a ‘significant’ minority share of the enlarged group.
The new combined accommodation supplier claims it will achieve an annual turnover in excess of £360 million and deal with more than 14,000 independent and chain hotels in 800 cities globally.
Terry Williamson, CEO of JacTravel, said: “Bringing TotalStay together with JacTravel will enable us to provide customers and suppliers with a broader, more integrated platform, driving growth and efficiency.”
Ben Johnson, a partner at Vitruvian, said: “The vision that Terry and Peter have articulated for the enlarged JacTravel group is a compelling proposition that we are confident will deliver significant value for customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.”
