Janu to open first Tokyo hotel
Aman’s sister brand Janu is set to open its first Tokyo hotel this autumn.
Janu Tokyo will be in a ‘Modern Urban Village’ with 122 spacious guest rooms and one of the largest wellness facilities in the city.
It is located in a tower of Azabudai Hills housing six restaurants as well as a bar, lounge and garden terrace.
The Tokyo hotel will be home to two Japanese restaurants, a Chinese restaurant a patisserie and Italian food emporium.
The Janu Wellness Centre spans over 4,000 sqm.
It also has a hydrotherapy and thermal area around a 25-metre heated lap pool, and two spa houses.
Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman and Janu, said: “Being part of the Azabudai Hills project sets the benchmark for the brand and all other Janus to come.”
The Azabudai Hills development will also be home to Aman Residences, Tokyo, located in a separate building from Janu Tokyo.
This is set to complete in 2023.
