Jet Airways tightens change fee policy
Jet Airways has amended its charges for cancellation and flight changes.
Now economy class customers making a change within seven days will be charged between INR2,300 and INR4,300 depending on the fare type.
For more than a week in advance the fee is INR1,500 to INR3,500.
The new policy went live on February 7.
Business class travellers with Classic and Flex fares will be charged a INR4,800 and INR3,800 cancellation fee.
It becomes the first time a fee has been imposed for Flex fare customers.
The airline calls the new policy ‘a guest-friendly, tiered framework that will reward its domestic guests with substantially lower penalties for advanced intimation for changes in their bookings.’
