Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added thousands more seats for next year’s half-term holidays in October

They have responded to strong demand by adding more flights and holidays to destinations, including the Canary Islands and Turkey.

Over 50 weekly flights have been added for the half-term holidays next year to Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Tenerife in the Canary Islands, and Izmir, Bodrum, Antalya and Dalaman in Turkey.

The extra capacity has been put on sale from nine of Jet2.com and Jet2holiday’s UK bases – Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle International and London Stansted Airports.

The additional flights represent over 45,000 extra seats going on sale.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “We are seeing strong demand with the October half-term period proving to be an extremely popular time for families to enjoy a holiday. In response to that, we have added additional capacity across popular destinations.”
