Jet2 adds Sicily and Sardinia for summer 2022
Jet2 recently announced the launch of new flights and holiday packages to Sicily and Sardinia for summer 2022.
The addition of the two more Italian islands expands Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ Italian programme to seven destinations and comes in response to strong demand from UK holidaymakers.
It will operate to Sicily from five UK bases (Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stansted) with flights into Catania Airport.
This opens up several popular resort areas on the east coast which are just a short transfer away.
Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean and is a well-established destination with UK holidaymakers.
In addition, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are also putting flights and holidays on sale to Sardinia from four UK bases for Summer 2022.
Flights will depart Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stansted.
Flights will operate into Olbia Airport.
"We are continuing to see a great deal of demand for Summer 2022, so we are adding Sicily and Sardinia to our programme to give customers and independent travel agents even more choice," said Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
