Jet2 buys 27 next generation Boeing aircraft
Jet2.com has acquired 27 next generation 737-800s from Boeing.
The aircraft will be delivered over a two-year period to 2018.
The airline said they will be used to take package holiday and flight only customers to a range of ‘exciting destinations across mainland Europe, the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands, as well as a host of beautiful city breaks’.
Executive chairman Philip Meeson said: “This order ensures that we can continue to be at the forefront of developing our customer experience and product in line with our family friendly ethos.”
