Jet2 issues Rhodes holidays update
Jet2 has flown 20 flights to the UK from Rhodes so far this week – both scheduled services and repatriation flights.
It continues to fly empty aircraft to bring Rhodes holidaymakers back to the UK.
As already announced, all Jet2 flights and holidays to Rhodes remain cancelled up to and including Sunday 30 July.
Affected customers have been contacted to give them refund and rebooking options.
The company updated customers due to travel to Rhodes from Monday.
For Rhodes holidays booked in the north of the island, all hotels, villas, and resorts are operating as normal.
Customers due to travel to accommodation in Afandou, Faliraki, Ialyssos, Ixia, Kalithea, Kolymbia, Kremasti, Pastida, Rhodes Town and Theologos can do so without worry.
From Monday 31 July, operations in the wildfire affected areas of Lardos, Lindos, Kalathos and Pefkos will be back to normal and customers can enjoy their booked Rhodes holidays.
Jet2 customer service and risk and safety experts have inspected all properties in these areas.
However, resorts and hotels in Gennadi, Kiotari and Lachania remain off limits until 14 August.
Jet2 is contacting impacted customers to arrange an alternative or process full refunds.
