Friday, 28 Feb, 2014 0

Jet2.com  will operate new flights from Edinburgh to Geneva and Manchester to Turin during the 2014/2015 winter season.

Both flights will operate on Saturdays from December 20 to April 11.

Its flight to Turin will be the only direct service to the Italian city from Manchester.

Geneva is Jet2’s third destination from Edinburgh, from where the airline already flies to Chambery and Salzburg in the winter.

Both Geneva and Turin are gateways to winter sports resorts, Geneva being close to many resorts in the Swiss and French Alps including Morzine, Chamonix and Verbier, while Turin serves the resorts of the ‘ Milky Way’ including Sauze d’Oulx, Sestriere and Montgenevre.
