Jet2holidays announces second VIP conference
Jet2holidays will hold two VIP conferences in Cyprus in November and December this year.
The package holiday specialist, which held one VIP event last year, has added a second for 2016.
It will take 120 of its top performing agency partners to the CBH Athena Royal hotel in Cyprus for a two-night conference on December 1.
The conference includes presentations, supplier showcases, a gala dinner, and an awards ceremony to recognise the most successful agents.
A second two-night conference will take place at the same hotel and has been designed for 120 agents who are new to the brand.
It said this conference, starting on November 28, is particularly relevant for travel agents in the Midlands area, ahead of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays launching flights and holidays for the first time from Birmingham Airport in March 2017.
The announcement was made by Alan Cross, head of trade at Jet2holidays, at a special launch event attended by over 50 travel agents in Leeds last night.
"Our agency partners are integral to the ongoing growth and success of our business, accounting for a third of sales," said Cross.
"Partnerships with travel agents is a fundamentally important part of our business, which is why we want to recognise the most successful agents as well as those who are new to our brand. Our best performing agents really do deserve this recognition, and it’s great to be able to reward so many new agents by taking them on these special two-night conferences to the beautiful island of Cyprus."
