Jet2holidays’ bookings take off as travel curbs eased

Tuesday, 07 Jan, 2022 0

Jet2holidays has reported an immediate bump in business following the easing of travel restrictions by the UK Government.

It says it has experienced a surge in bookings.

Bookings have increased by 150% compared to the previous day, and the increase in demand sees bookings returning to pre-pandemic levels.

Jet2holidays customers have been booking holidays across popular sun, ski and leisure city destinations including Mainland Spain, the Canaries, the Balearic Islands, Turkey, and Greece.

Immediately after the announcement, Jet2holidays launched a flash sale for winter 2021/22, summer 2022, winter 2022/23, and summer 2023.

Jet2holidays is offering £50 off per person on all package holidays booked through an independent travel agent if travelling up to and including 31 October 2022.

Bookings must be made by 18 January 2021.

The promotion is applicable to all package holidays on sale for winter 2021/22 and summer 2022.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: "The relaxation of travel restrictions is welcome news for both the travel industry and holidaymakers and comes during what is traditionally a very busy period for holiday bookings"
