Jet2holidays joins TIPTO
Jet2holidays is to become the first new tour operator to join independent operator’s organisation TITPO in its 21st year.
The UK’s second biggest tour operator will officially join on September 1, bringing with it a portfolio of packages from city breaks and villa holidays to luxury escapes.
TIPTO’s newly-appointed chairman Nick Hughes said: "Jet2holidays will further strengthen TIPTO’s tour operator expertise and we are delighted to welcome the brand into our network for year 21.
"Our style of face to face events will provide the team with a unique opportunity to educate agents strengthening current relationships and extending their reach to forge new relationships nationwide."
Craig Davidson, Jet2holidays general manager trade sales (above left) said: "We are excited to join the TIPTO member portfolio and work with an association that shares our values, objectives and strategies within the travel trade sector.
"Jet2holidays continually demonstrates its commitment to independent travel agents and organisations via its ‘Partnership 2 Success’ initiative, which is all about helping independents increase sales and grow their businesses.
"TIPTO’s training ethos is perfectly aligned to this and so becoming a member makes perfect sense.
"We totally support the work that TIPTO does with agents and strongly believe our strategic approach also provides a mutual support to the aims of the association."
