JetBlue, Etihad add reciprocal loyalty program perks
JetBlue has strengthened its partnership with Etihad Airways, adding reciprocal loyalty benefits starting May 8.
It is part of the long-standing airline codeshare partnership.
The airlines announced the move at Dubai’s Arabian Travel Market.
Now, members of JetBlue’s TrueBlue loyalty program and members of Etihad Guest will now be able to earn and redeem points when flying across the network of either airline.
“JetBlue has been an important partner for Etihad for almost a decade and we’re thrilled to be extending this partnership, benefitting both of our airlines’ valued members,” said Mark Potter, MD, Etihad Guest.
“This also further bolsters Etihad’s commitment to the US market.
Etihad recently added a new Abu Dhabi to Boston service.
The customer loyalty offerings expand benefits beyond the comprehensive airline codeshare which offers over 40 destinations across JetBlue’s network within the Americas via New York and Etihad’s global network of more than 70 destinations.
