JetBlue inks partnership with regional carrier
JetBlue customers will soon get more seamless air access to a host of small and rural towns.
JetBlue inked a new interline partnership with regional carrier Contour Airlines.
Tennessee based Contour flies to dozens of smaller airports and to the Caribbean.
Travellers are able to book through tickets on both airlines linking big cites with smaller rural communities.
Customers can book through to the final destination on a single ticket with baggage checked for the entire journey.
“It represents a meaningful step forward in providing better accessibility to both residents of these communities and travelers looking to visit one of our many great destinations,” Contour President Ben Munson said.
Interline fares are now available through Contour’s booking platforms.
“Our new interline agreement with Contour Airlines reflects JetBlue’s commitment to expanding access and connectivity for our customers,” says Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s VP of network planning and airline partnerships.
Contour’s main base is at Tennessee’s Smyrna Airport.
