JetBlue’s latest transatlantic flights to the UK are now up and running.

The first JetBlue Edinburgh bound flight touches down this morning from New York.

Seasonal Edinburgh flights will run through September 30, 2024 and becomes only the second direct transatlantic service from New York JFK to Edinburgh.

“We look forward to connecting Scotland and the Northeast this summer with our Mint and core service, bringing the signature JetBlue experience to Edinburgh,” says Marty St. George, president, JetBlue.

It’s been warmly welcomed by John Lamont, UK Government Minister for Scotland.

“Our relationship with the US is a special one. We welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors to Scotland and the wider UK from North America every year and it’s also our top export market.”

“This new direct JetBlue route will really help strengthen links between our two great countries,” Lamont said.

Edinburgh flights will operate daily on Airbus A321neo Mint service, comprising 16 redesigned Mint Suite seats.

JetBlue’s core economy cabin features 144 seats.
