JetBlue rolling out more Mint on San Francisco, LA routes
JetBlue Airways will expand its premium Mint service to more flights from New York JFK to Los Angeles and San Francisco.
From October 25, JetBlue Mint will be available on up to six daily flights to San Francisco.
It is also offering more Mint on the LA route with up to 10 daily flights by next February when the carrier takes delivery of its newest A321 jet.
Priced significantly lower than competing premium class service with the likes of American Airlines and Delta, Mint has been an instant success, JetBlue says.
"In just one year, Mint has taken off in a way that we never imagined and we’re thrilled to bring even more Mint to customers who want to fly between JFK and the West Coast," said Marty St. George, executive vice president commercial and planning, JetBlue.
"We’ve driven demand for Mint with low prices and the best premium experience in North America."
St. George hinted that Mint would be further expanded in 2016.
The additional Mint flights will be available for booking from June 21.
