JetBlue Vacations taps Utrip’s AI tech for trip planning service
JetBlue Vacations has teamed up with artificial intellegence based travel platform Utrip to ease the trip planning process.
It allows JetBlue fliers to personalize itineraries in the US, Latin America and the Caribbean via curated list of local recommendations.
Customers simply enter their destination and travel dates in the JetBlue Vacations-Utrip portal and choose their travel preferences based on any of 16 categories such as history, food and nightlife and Utrip’s algorithms sort millions of possible combinations of tourist sites, activities and restaurants.
It then offers itinerary suggestions along with timings and maps.
"When you hear artificial intelligence, it’s easy to envision a far-off future seen in the movies. But AI is ready to change how we now plan travel. Our partnership with Utrip demonstrates that we can transform the vacation experience using both technology and a human touch," said Umang Gupta, president, JetBlue Vacations.
Utrip’s database covers 150 destinations which have been created by local experts.
"By collaborating with JetBlue Vacations, we’re excited to further our commitment to help our partners enhance their relationships with travelers, empowering them to discover new destinations," said Gilad Berenstein, founder and CEO of Utrip.
