Jetstar launching new Bali flights from Melbourne
Jetstar is set to embark on its biggest ever expansion out of Melbourne Avalon Airport.
It plans to launch new international flights to Bali, as well as restarting flights to Adelaide, plus adding more frequencies to Brisbane.
This major expansion will add more than 330,000 new seats annually in and out of Melbourne.
Jetstar’s new Bali service will be the airline’s first ever international route from Melbourne Avalon.
Starting on 23 March 2026, Jetstar will operate five return flights a week between Melbourne Avalon and Denpasar on Jetstar’s Airbus A321LR aircraft.
This represents over 120,000 additional seats a year to and from one of Australia’s favourite overseas holiday destinations.
The new Bali route is Jetstar’s eleventh direct service from Australia and follows the recent launch of Bali flights from Sunshine Coast, Newcastle and the Gold Coast.
In addition, Jetstar will offer to seven return flights between Melbourne Avalon and Adelaide from 26 March 2026.
Jetstar will also introduce up to five extra weekly flights to Brisbane.
