Join a fundraising once-in-a-lifetime trip to Everest
Two travel industry employees are being given the chance to join a trip of a lifetime to Nepal and help raise money for struggling families.
The Family Holiday Association has joined forces with adventure travel company Exodus to invite two people to join the iconic Himalayan trek to the famous base camp at the foot of Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain.
The trip takes places over 17 days from April 20 and is fully inclusive of flights, transfers and accommodation for the duration of the expedition.
The successful pair will need to commit to raising at least £3,000 each in sponsorship and will be required to pay an initial registration fee of £250 per person.
The money raised will be split equally between two charities – the Family Holiday Association and the Exodus Nepal Earthquake appeal.
"As interest is expected to be high, the lucky two participants will be chosen by ballot," said the FHA.
Anybody who would like to take part should complete the online form by Friday, January 15 2016.
The results will be announced shortly after the closing date.
