JTA Travel expands sales team
JTA Travel has appointed two regional sales managers as it looks to strengthen its trade presence and increase distribution.
Amanda Leggett, second from the left, joins as RSM covering Scotland, North East and Yorkshire, and Diane Court, third from the left, is RSM for Midlands, South West and Wales.
They join the existing team of Zoe Holt, Harry Taylor, right, and Duncan Croucher.
Leggett joins from Great Rail Journeys where she was business development manager. She has previously held several senior sales roles within the travel industry.
Court, who previously worked for JTA Travel from 2013-2016, returns from US Airtours, where she was national account manager. She has previously worked for companies such as TUI and Virgin Holidays.
JTA operations director Rachel Braznell said: ‘We have developed an extensive range of new products over the last few years, including short-haul, long-haul holidays and a specialised cruise department.
"JTA have been trading now for almost 50 years and whilst we started as a flight only provider, we now offer agents a much greater range of choices.’
Leggett and Court will be focused on working directly with agents in increasing sales in their respective regions and will be delivering a programme of ongoing training with existing agents as well as welcoming new agents on board, said JTA.
‘We are a trade only business and are totally committed to having representatives out on the road, calling on our key agent partners. Our ongoing range of incentives, VIP agent events, fam trips and training are second to none’, added Braznell.
JTA is currently running a fam incentive in which agents can win a place on one of seven trips running between now and February 2020.
