Jurys Inn makes Heathrow debut
Jurys Doyle Hotels opens its first airport budget hotel at Heathrow next month.
The 364-room Jurys Inn Heathrow opens on November 5 with rates starting at £59 a night.
The property is claimed to be the only one within easy walking distance of Hatton Cross Underground station, two stops away from the airport’s four terminals.
The property is constructed on BAA land following a competitive pitch for the site between Jurys and several other chains.
The three-star ‘budget plus’ hotel is the latest in a string of new openings this year from the 16-strong chain, including properties in Leeds, Chelsea and Dublin. The Heathrow opening will be followed by Southampton and Nottingham.
Marketing and sales director Niall Geoghegan said: “Jurys Inn Heathrow is our first airport offering; whilst this does not represent a new departure for the Jurys Inn product it does demonstrate our ability to identify and convert the best locations and bring to market a product that will thrive.
“Above all we are offering convenience at our new Heathrow Hotel; convenience of location, transport links, parking and comfort. We can offer this comfortable convenience within a budget plus pricing structure, with rates from £59, that cost-conscious businesses are finding increasingly attractive.”
